Beginning this weekend, at the start of a session in #ubuntu-classroom on irc.freenode.net, ClassBot will make a dent and tweet to announce the session. The Classroom Management Team will also dent/tweet other announcements for the Ubuntu Classroom.

Jorge Castro has added a Saturday training session for how to run a Global Jam! The session is scheduled for March 6 at 1900 UTC in #ubuntu-locoteams on irc.freenode.net. Today it was announced by Rick Spencer of Canonical that there are changes coming to the default search engine in Ubuntu 10.04, Lucid Lynx. The first change is that the default search engine will no longer be Google. Canonical and Yahoo made a deal in which Canonical will generate revenue from the switch. This will help to support further development of Ubuntu by helping to pay for Canonical staff and other resources needed.
